ASEAN region has reported a total of 16,233,105 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 25 January 2022 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 16,233,105 Covid-19 cases, this includes 312,390 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,289,305 people (144,227 deaths)
- Philippines: 3,442,056 people (53,519 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,836,159 people (31,902 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,391,357 people (22,060 deaths)
- Vietnam: 2,155,784 people (36,884 deaths)
- Myanmar: 534,163 people (19,310 deaths)
- Singapore: 316,774 people (848 deaths)
- Laos: 130,293 people (527 deaths)
- Cambodia: 121,066 people (3,015 deaths)
- Brunei: 16,148 people (98 deaths)
